A little bit about me...
I became a Real Estate Agent in June of 2005. The reason for my interest in the Real Estate market was because my daughter and son were interested in the Medical field. I knew, that I needed to start saving for college tuition, as we all know that studying medicine can be very costly. So, I started to dedicate all my free time to Real Estate as a side job and continued working my full time job as the Office Manager for Subway Franchise in South Florida. As I, continued working in this field; I started to capture the importance and respect for this job and the satisfaction that it gave me every time I placed a family in a home or sold a home. Learning every facet of a Real Estate Agent gave me the determination and enthusiasm to get up every day and go out there and find the perfect home for families to start their new life with their families.
After, I started doing Real Estate my then employer purchased an 24 Unit Apartment building and came to the office and handed me a bag full of keys and said here, you are going to manage these Units, learn how to do inspections, hire people to fix the problems and rent them. I didn’t know anything about managing properties but, I said to myself, “How hard can this be?” Well, it was not as easy as I thought, but I learned by trial and error and got it done! All of my hard work paid off, as I saw myself helping families, I also found homes for single people. It was very satisfying when I was able to help those less fortunate people that no one else cared to help put a roof of their heads, actually these tenants turned out to be the best.
I LOVE what I do and would not trade it for anything in the world. Being a Real Estate Agent/Property Manager is the best job I have ever had! I interact with different people every day and help them. Listen it’s not all peachy, but the good outweighs the bad, unfortunately there has been tenants that have posted negative comments to destroy my business, but what I have realized that these are the people that have destroyed and have left the properties in total disarray and then expect to get their complete security deposit back. I am just doing my job and protecting the interest of my clients.
